Cuba Boutique Statement:
If we could be granted one wish for Cuba’s future, we’d hope that the isolation, which made the island and its people so unique and makes visiting so alluring, gives way gently to change. We’d wish for Cuba to keep marching to its own music as it welcomes new visitors to their island nation in the Caribbean.
We prepared our first discovery trip with exclusively AirBNB accommodations in the cities of Matanzas (Casa Couret) and Central Havana (Paraiso Rojo) while extensively visiting and interacting with the real Cuba between Varadero, Havana and the Pinar del Rio/Viñales Region for February 1 – 11, 2017.
Extensive daily travel stories and tips can be found on TJ’s personal website: www.boomerbabetravels.com with photos and videos. Her approach to travel is slightly different then mine and often covers areas important to women. My stories go deeper into socio-cultural and economic topics as I see a destination develop. I try to stay away from political observations as much as I can.
